This is a website about some self made encryption algorithms wich can be decrypted - if you know how the algorithm works.
Here you can find some standard encryption algorithms, wich are called 'one way encryption'. The algorithms are published, but its normally not possible to decrypt the results - but some of them are already cracked and should not be used for encryption of important stuff like passwords.
